This is something I haven't done before, and hopefully don't intend to do too often. This is a previous deviation "Autumn in Belvoir Forest" which I have re-worked from scratch using the RAW files.
I thought it would be interesting to re-process this based on what I have learned over the past months.
There is still an element of tonemapped HDR in this, although the effect has been toned down.
I think the contrast, colours, sharpness, and apparent depth of field is better. I'm sure some will agree and some will disagree.
This is such a delightful shot - the colours, the shape of the tree, everything about it is amazing. It's so ethereally beautiful, I almost expect to see fairies hiding amongst the leaves.
Absolutely and completely delightful. Maybe its because its autumn here, and we don't get many deciduous trees, but this really struck a cord with me. Lovely. If I ever have money to put art on my walls, I'd want it to be something like this.
