Here is Autumn 2009's interpretation of the classic Belvoir tree shot.

Fortunately late on a Friday afternoon, the sun came out and the tree looks magnificent. This had been a day of sunny spells, and I had been out earlier, only to be disappointed when it clouded over and started to drizzle. Determined to get my shot, I returned later and was rewarded with some brief sunshine.

I am lucky to get any photos of this tree this year. Centimetres out of the shot is a metal fence where some work is going on in the park. It is rather a mess. But with photography, it goes to show being selective in what you leave out is as important and what you include.
