The ancient Oak tree in Belvoir Forest Park, Belfast, Northern Ireland. This tree is said to be the park's most well-known resident, and its trunk, which divides into three, measures a large 8.6 metres around the base. The tree is thought to be hundreds of years old.
I was standing on some ground which was cleared of trees in the past few years because of pipe laying in the forest. No doubt this land will be replanted soon, and this view will no longer be possible.
