Belvoir Tree Autumn 2009

Another view of this tree I often visit in Belvoir Forest Park, Belfast. In Mid November, autumn is welll under way, and many of the leaves have fallen from this tree. The leaves that remain are mostly orange and yellow. There don't seem to be many of the deeper red colours I remember from past years.

The low sunlight strikes the trunk of this tree and the grass in the foreground, as well as illuminating the golden coloured leaves.

Here I have tried to lower the contrasts a bit to give the feeling of soft light.
