Drum Bridge at the River Lagan in South Belfast, Northern Ireland, on a cold misty morning in December.
Having shot some average looking snow scenes yesterday, I decided to venture out early on a bright morning. It turned out to be more misty than I thought at the river, but the final shot turned out better than I'd hoped for.
I cooled this shot a little, as the original was slightly too monochrome.
This piece is visually stunning. I love that you captured the reflection perfectly. I also like the muted color tones in this image. They really bring out the cold (dead) wintery feeling. Very well done. I think it would look cripser with a bit more contrast though. The foreground (the branches in the right corners)gives the picture a little more depth which is good. I think it is an all around great effort and execution by the person behind the lens. I would say that overall it's an all around 4 out of 5 stars but that's just my oppinion.
