Minnowburn Beeches in South Belfast is a favourite destination of mine. Yesterday I took advantage of a rare snowfall to capture Minnowburn in Winter. It was surprisingly busy for a Sunday morning, with many people out for a walk in the snow.
Here, I am down as close as I dare get to the water's edge. The early morning and calm conditions provide a near mirror like reflection of the old stone bridge.
This is a revision of this deviation, hopefully with better detail and more subtle contrast.
another thing i would do is neutralize some or most of the blue-cyan color of the snow in the foreground, it looks very artificial; when you look at snow, it does not look like that, right ?
now you know what to do.
