Minnowburn Beeches in South Belfast in January 2010. The snow and ice continue into the New Year.
I am positioned down close to the water's edge. The early morning and calm conditions provide a near mirror like reflection of the old stone bridge. The water close to me is actually frozen, and there is a thin layer of ice on the left-hand side of the water surface.
I tried to take more care with the exposure of this and I think the result is more successful than my recent shots of Minnowburn from a similar position.
