Description
The old stone bridge at Minnowburn Beeches in South Belfast during autumn 2010.
Here the water level is quite low in the Purdysburn River, and the stones on the river bed are visible. (I recently discovered the real name of this tributary of the Lagan.)

I loved this shot. It has a little bit of every thing. The fall colors frame the upper corners nicely. The way the stone bridge starkly contrasts the leaves is great. your focus seems to be perfect. I also like shooting water shots with a slower shutter speed, to create the water motion effect. I am curious what the round discs in the side of the bridge are. Overall, a wonderful shot. I live in Pennsylvaina, and I could easily see this bridge crossing a river on some lonley back road in my neck of the woods. Very well done.
